Mail Client Configuration Settings

This page details the settings required to connect any email client (whether it be on your desktop or laptop computer, or mobile/other devices) to your Jive Networks mail service.

Incoming Server Settings

POP3

POP3 Server pop.jive.net.au
Port 995
Security Type SSL/TLS
Username Your full email address (john@example.com)


IMAP

IMAP Server imap.jive.net.au
Port 993
Security Type SSL/TLS
Username Your full email address (john@example.com)

 

Outbound Mail Settings

SMTP

SMTP Server smtp.jive.net.au
Port 465
Security Type SSL/TLS
Username Your full email address must be used for authentication (ie, john@example.com)
Auth. Required Yes. Unauthenticated requests to send mail will be rejected.

 


Please note that while other combinations of configuration settings may work in your email client, the information listed on this page contains the only supported options. If you use non-advised settings while configuring your mail client, please do not be surprised if it stops working one day due to planned network or service upgrades at our end.
